Emerald Hospitality Associates is a full service Hotel Management and Consulting Company providing a wide range of specialized hospitality industry services. It was founded in 1999 by its' current President James R. Gerish. As a graduate of Michigan State University and a seasoned veteran of the hotel industry Mr. Gerish identified a need in the industry for a hotel management company that provided hotel / restaurant investors with the sort of skills and expertise necessary to obtain the greatest return on their investment while consistently delivering hands-on personalized service.
Emerald Hospitality became a results-oriented team committed to the tradition of true hospitality. In order to establish Emerald Hospitality as a leader in this segment of the hospitality industry a corporate culture was developed that allowed open discussion and consistent communication that in turn provided owners/investors with the bottom line results they desired. Emerald Hospitality approached the investor/management company relationship in a very unique manner, never allowing one single owner or entity to become more important than the group. This approach has allowed Emerald Hospitality to build a diverse portfolio of quality properties and satisfied owners.
